Eating during exams!!

I haven’t been using buddy slim as much as I managed to reach my goal weight and was eating really healthily, but I’ve hit a massive road block. Exams. I have been studying for 2 weeks so far and it has just been one big binge…I literally don’t know what happened, but I feel totally out of control! After a full day at the library all I want to do is pig out and eat everything in sight! I feel so drained and tired when I get back and worried that I’ve done enough for the day…Also the vending machine at the library is terrible, I find myself grabbing chocolate as I work, even though I don’t even like it! Obviously, this eating is stress related and linked to the fact that it’s tradition for me stress eat during exams, but it’s only for another month and I reeeally don’t want to undo all the hard work it took me to get my weight down. I think I’ve gained about 7 pounds in the last 2 weeks, really need help…does anyone else have this problem during exams or other stress related activities?? Hopefully with buddyslims help, I’ll be able to revise wicked long days and still eat well and have energy for exercise, it’s all about perception and staying positive right? Here goes…..xx

Starting out is haaard, over the first hurdle and full of encouragement

So I discovered how hard it is to start out. My first two weeks started out really well as I was so excited to lose weight, but went away with my friends and had a couple big family parties with amazing home cooked family food and I just seemed to lose my way completely. I was feeling pretty rubbish about myself this morning and really discouraged. So I logged into my computer and I had a booster note :)  (from Krystal)  that has just brought back a whole lot of self confidence! One set back is not the end of the world. So this note is really just to say thank you for everyone for providing such encouragement. I’m off to a big brunch where I am going to enjoy some fruit and yoghurt instead of pancakes and croissants, wouldn’t have been able to do it if I hadn’t logged in this morning so thank you!!

ps. My computer won’t seem to let me write text in the booster notes? Anyone else had this problem?

Starting out

Heyy, just starting out my weight loss journey, although I have tried nearly all the fad diets around I  cannot maintain them so decided to do it properly this time! After 2 years at University living with roomates who eat anything and everything (especially when an assignment is due) I’ve gained almost 20 pounds and am so unfit. I have also suffered from glandular fever which added to my weight gain as I haven’t been able to exercise much. But normally I love running and dancing, so want to get back to doing that! Looking forward to hearing from anyone who has advice about starting out and just to hear other people’s stories for inspiration!! Good luck everyone xoxo
